Allied Solutions Development Specialist in Dakota Dunes, South Dakota

**Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides LSPD employee development opportunities through quality training and leadership training programs
  • Assists in planning and delivery of on-boarding program to ensure that employees understand policies and company culture
  • Prepares material for training sessions; ensuring most current version of procedure manuals, handouts, and PowerPoints are being used
  • Effectively organizes and delivers on-site training presentations and WebEx training sessions for off-site employees, ensuring that resources are prepared, materials are current and appropriate for the topic
  • Provides continuous learning opportunities in the areas of technical and soft skills
  • Exhibits flexibility and the ability to work successfully with diverse personalities
  • Practices problem solving skills and creativity in order to adapt to new and unique situations
  • Possesses and practices a thorough knowledge of training methodology, techniques and principles
  • Integrates training with diverse, real-world business-specific situations.
  • Validates the quality and quantity of employees’ work while in training. Reports results and behaviors to department management
  • Encourages employee and agent retention by providing moral support throughout the learning experience Serves as a role model to employees
  • Conducts Leadership Development courses in support of succession planning within the Division
  • Conducts needs assessment meetings in order to determine Key Performance Indicators and benchmarked service standards for each LSPD department

  • Works with department management to set individuals’ and department goals
  • Researches policy and procedures, system resources, industry environment and compliance responsibilities while developing training materials and training programs
  • Assesses the effectiveness of training programs and work toward continual improvement
  • Meets the Leadership Development Department quantity and quality standards
  • Supports other LSPD departments and Human Resources with special projects, as needed
  • Attends weekly LSPD Procedure meeting, providing applicable information that drives results
  • Attends annual training conferences
  • Delivers training initiatives to multiple levels and locations within LSPD
  • Is willing to travel throughout the continental United States
  • Provides training to LSPD employees acquired through company acquisitions
  • Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certifications & KSA)

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Three or more years CPI experience preferred
  • One or more years training experience preferred
  • Proficient communication in English (verbal and written); Spanish a benefit
  • Ability to work with all employees in a professional, polite, and pleasant manner
  • Effective listening and communication skills are required
  • Strong Customer Service focus
  • High level of interpersonal skills and integrity
  • Ability to effectively and professionally present information in one-on-one and group situations to customers, clients, and employees of the organization is required
  • Above average skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of CPI Insurance
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
