Responsible to provide pre-sale support, product demonstrations, seminars, as well as post-sale support, training and/or customer service activities to support sales objectives within the assigned territory. Support achievement of commercial business objectives and high level of customer satisfaction/patronage for GE Healthcare products and services.
Support customers, Account Managers, Biacore Sales Specialists within the New England Zone (CT, MA, NH, RI, VT) as well as the national USCAN applications team.
Provide expert technical presentations at customer sites and high level scientific meetings as well as high quality post sales support to large user base in the New England Region
Responsible for regional Biacore training lab to support customer training courses and demonstration of Biacore products to enable customer adaptation.
Accountable with sales specialists and modality team in developing sales, marketing and customer account strategies and align applications activities to support Regional Area sales goals.
Associate’s Degree in Life Sciences such as Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or Engineering.
Strong, working knowledge of label free assays and technology, SPR and or ITC and BLI
Good understanding and knowledge of either/and Antibody characterization, small molecule, fragment screening and QC assay development.
Five years of post-degree experience as a Product Specialist, FAS, Technical Specialist, or Research Scientist with practical experience
Willingness to travel extensively within your specified geographic region as well as to nationwide sales meetings and tradeshows.
Demonstrated interpersonal & communication skills, Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, to diverse external customers, global counterparts and to team members in other functional areas.
Proficiency in computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite products.
BA/BS/MS/PhD Degree in related science or engineering field.
Hands on experience in Biacore SPR and/or other label free system(s)
Strong preference for candidates located in Boston area
Understanding of validation and FDA regulated environment.
Strong leadership skills (respected by peers and leadership within the scientific community).
Strong written, Oral and presentation skills (public speaking and lecture experience desired. Publication track record demonstrated)
Team oriented with a customer satisfaction mindset.
Self-Motivator with ability to multi-task effectively and manage multiple priorities at one time.
