Role Summary:

Essential Responsibilities:

The Director, Digital Technology Risk & Compliance Management will report to Brent Cieszynski, and is an information technology leadership position that is accountable for the controllership and compliance posture for the GE Coretech product offerings. This team will assist with the ongoing protection and compliance of highly innovative solutions supporting the 350,000 employees of GE’s digital workforce in more than 150 locations around the globe.

  • Partner with business stakeholders, Corporate Audit Staff (CAS), Coretech product owners and other legal and compliance teams to determine control posture and audit position. Act as the key liaison between the GE businesses, Cybersecurity & Technology Risk, Compliance and Operations and the Core Technology organization as it relates to compliance management activities.

  • Responsible for testing, documentation and support of the ongoing compliance to global regulatory, contractual and corporate policy requirements of technology solutions.

  • Researches and maintains knowledge in emerging threats, risks, regulations, laws and technologies and possible impact/application to the business or products.

  • Recommends innovations that enhance security & compliance operations and/or provide a competitive advantage to the organization.

  • Assists in the remediation of new and outstanding issues.

  • Ensure technology solutions adhere to corporate IT Controls, security policies, change management procedures, quality control processes, documentation standards, etc.

  • Provide regular metrics and reporting to measure the compliance, efficiency and effectiveness of the services, facilitate appropriate resource allocation, and increase the overall maturity of our core technology products & capabilities.

  • Execute team management activities focused on employee recruiting, development, performance management, compensation and leadership.

  • Align team for successful delivery and partnership with technology and business leaders. Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Business (or, in lieu of a degree, 5+ years of IT experience in global organization)

  • 7+ years of experience in Information Technology and 5 + years’ experience in Cyber security, technology risk or auditEligibility Requirements:
