ranging from advanced planning and project controls to complete project execution including start-up and commissioning.

As part of our continued growth, we are currently in the market for a site-based Wind Field Engineer to work on a wind farm site in Western Australia.

The Wind Field Engineer - Technical will perform in depth troubleshooting support and technical reporting.

Key tasks:

  • Preparation of work programs for the timely servicing of assets.

  • Organise daily work plans for contractors.

  • Raise purchase requests for parts, consumables etc. as required.

  • Interpret the requirements of manuals, specifications, bulletins, work instructions, etc. and devise work plans including all required resources.

  • Guide and assist technicians in the proper maintenance and fault finding of assets.

  • Regularly inspect in-person the progress and quality of service/repair work.

  • Maintain reports using various software management tools and databases.

  • Prepare technical reports for the Company and customer.

  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with the organisation’s JSA, LOTO, EHS and associated policies/procedures.

  • Report errors, violations, incidents or problems immediately using Company/Customer reporting systems.

  • Submit enquiries to Engineering to ensure technical issues are resolved.

  • Answer questions from management, Engineering, Sourcing, Projects etc. as required.

  • Make a conformance or non-conformance decision upon completion of inspections.

  • Plan and oversee HV Operation and Maintenance activities performed by contractorsQualifications/Attributes:As a minimum, either a qualified and experience electrical or mechanical supervisor. A degree in electrical engineering would be highly regarded. Proficient in fault finding electrical equipment and have high level computer skills.In return, we offer attractive working conditions and prospects for training and career development.
