Within the Omnichannel Platform Team, the Enterprise Common Transactions Platform (CTP) Manager will oversee the strategy, development, expansion and utilization of the Common Transactions Platform. This new technical platform will support all monetary transaction processing (internal and external), applied across all channels (branch, call center, online, mobile, ILT and ATM). This platform will merge independent monetary processing approaches into one platform.

The CT Platform Manager will collaborate with all relevant USB business leaders (including Omnichannel Experience, Delivery, Risk, Product and Channel managers) to ensure that the solution addresses the current and future needs of internal and external customers and that new initiatives involving money movement, leverage this new platform. The CT Platform Manager will monitor platform performance to ensure that production issues, service gaps and risk issues are resolved promptly.

Goals:

  2. Lead, champion and support efforts that create and maximize enterprise platforms

  3. Leverage innovation and external best practices to drive competitive advantage

  4. Partner with multiple lines of business and Omnichannel team members to optimize platform capabilities and utilization

  5. Liaison with technology to ensure alignment with TOS goals and technical platform execution

Essential Functions:

  1. Direct and monitor platform activity.

  2. Participate in and lead platform meetings to identify platform and project goals, gain consensus on project steps, schedule and implementation; foster cooperation and involvement from support team.

  3. Identify internal and/or external resources to ensure platform success.

  4. Oversee preparation of platform status reports; establish platform KPIs.

  5. Assist with or prepare platform roadmap

  6. Manage or provide oversight for the Capex process for projects on the Platform roadmap.

  7. Participate in platform evaluation against estimated plans and costs

  8. Manage performance of project team, and evaluates overall performance.

  9. Be on the forefront of innovation.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Master's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • 10 or more years of experience in project management and leadership activities

  • Five or more years of managerial experience

Preferred Skills/Experience:

- Five to seven years of monetary processing experience with multi channel experience a plus (branch, ATM, mobile).

  • Seven to ten years of related technical platform construction/project management experience.

  • Banking experience preferred. Related industry experience considered.

  • Excellent executive level communication and presentation skills. Ability to create and present and deliver compelling business scenarios to articulate aspects of the platform to senior executives, peers and others on the program team.

  • Thorough knowledge of banking and monetary transactions processing (internal and external money movement) and fraud controls.

  • Strong technical skills and experience leading large, multi-channel technology projects. Experience with APIs and building platforms a plus.

  • Strong program/project management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance on large complex projects.

  • Ability to conduct strategic analysis of a business need, formulate platform strategies, identify and resolve issues.

  • General knowledge of policies, procedures, products and regulatory requirements relating to Consumer Banking, Deposits and Loans. Demonstrated leadership, innovation and execution skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Ability to work as part of a remote project team.
